Our Retail experience ranges from full ground up place-making abilities to tenant representation. We have executed full marketing and tenant procurement campaigns for retail sites in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Maryland markets. We have lead the efforts on the entitlement process for adaptive re-use sites during pre-leasing, handled all brokerage needs on tenant placement, negotiated the leases between Landlord and tenant and also guided the construction management process to bring the transaction to fruition.
We represent the landlord in the New Centre of Energy for Pittsburgh Centre District Pittsburgh, located on 28 acres directly across Centre Avenue from PPG Paints Arena. This is a planned, mixed-use community designed to integrate modern office space, urban living and hospitality with entertainment and lifestyle retail.
Walkable and transit-friendly Centre District will include an indoor/outdoor music venue; a full-service hotel; lifestyle and entertainment retail; both casual and destination restaurants; boutique fitness and iconic office space. The multifamily residential components of the project will feature over 1,000 apartments with contemporary finishes, unique views and attractive amenities.
Loch Raven Commons
We represented the landlord in the overall redevelopment of the former Raytheon site into Loch Raven Commons located in Townson, MD. Cadence spearheaded the necessary entitlement process that was required to develop this site from a vacant industrial building into a A class mixed use development. Cadence obtain Wawa, Aspen Dental and ATI Therapy at the retail tenants and facilitated the sale of the residential portion to Greystar Development.
King of Prussia, PA
We represented PM Hotel Group in the redevelopment of a 2.87 acre pad site located at 260 Mall Blvd across from the King of Prussia Mall in PA. Cadence handled the entitlement process, marketing of the site, obtaining J.Alexander's as a tenant and negotiating the lease and condo documents on behalf of the landlord. This site was the home to a former Bally's Fitness that was shuttered. This transaction added over $6 million dollars of value to the site.
The Peoples' Center
We represent the Landlord of The Peoples' Center located in Pittsburgh, PA. This mixed use space is located on North Shore Drive between the stadiums for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates.
We represented Kirna Zabete in their search for their first and only Philadelphia market location. Headquarted in New York, NY, Kirna Zabete is a high end women's fashion boutique that has expanded into multiple new markets over the past 36 months.
